Default "Last Saleable Camaro" up for auction

Posting this for a friend.

The decision has been made to sell the "Last Saleable Camaro" or "Last 4th Gen. Camaro". There is a great amount of documentation and newspaper clippings that go along with the car, including all the documentation from Chevrolet. There are photos of it with the last few Camaro's coming down the line and many of the proud plant workers as well. The auction will take place the weekend of January 6,7, & 8, with my vehicle being auctioned the afternoon of Saturday the 7th. The auction is being held by both Kruse Int & Dave Rupp. You can find more information on their web-site at www.kruse.com

I have the owners contact info if anyone is interested.

Welcome "Gomaro". Neat car. Sure glad the last Camaro wasn't a powder blue 6 cylinder with matching interior . Here is the picture and link. Good luck!

* BTW Bruce ("Xplantdad"), thanks for the skills that allow me to do the above cyber-'puter-super-stuff. I can now say it borders on fun!

I like seeing the elderly man and little boy gawking at the car. You can just imagine the stories he's telling the boy about when he prowled the streets with his car back in the day................

The man with little boy gawking at the car is the owner! He's not that old he just walks with a cane.

The gas station is part of the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI.

Just to clarify I do not own this car. It belong to another member of the Western Michigan Camaro Club (WMCC). This car is BRAND NEW. It has not been driven. Last time I seen the car I believe there was less than 10 miles on it. None of the protective plastic was removed during dealer prep at Berger Chevrolet. This car is just as it was, when it rolled off of the assembly line in 2002.

I wonder if the fact that GM is displaying the 5th gen Camaro concept in Detroit next month has anything to do with why this "last" Camaro is now for sale.

He is selling it because he is planning a move to the south/southwest in search of warmer, drier climate, for personal reasons. And the money from the sale to will help fund the move.
