Default pilot 67 chevelle conv??

Dose the very first batch of cars produced make them a pilot car??I have a 67 chevelle L79 conv that is vin #100030 made its from what i believe is the first batch, and possibly the 1st conv produced till someone proves me wrong anyway???Some of the parts are marked with a big letter p and there are alot of mid 66 dated parts on the car as well such as dash,rearend,etc cowl tag says aug 66 build month??? just wandering

I have seen this hand stamped "P" on at least one other pilot car so you never know.

It would be hard to tell without researching 1967 Chevelles (something I've never did)..I'm not sure if J Mattison's email to me shows up in that old thread..it references LS6 "pilots" but I think he was refering to most "pilots" Do you have any Chevrolet paperwork on the car?

The only fact paperwork besides the p.o.p there is a paper tag under the rear seat that says body,style,job etc that is very hard to read i believe due to hyd fluid from the top cylinders over the years its very dark in color...
