Gentleman:
I would prefer my first post on this site be far more positive in nature - but it's not. 5 days ago I replied to an add posted on this site: web page I contacted the seller. The first question I asked was "do you have documentation." Yes, was his answer and immediately I received photos of the build sheet. Based on the cars lineage, I agreed to his asking price and made arrangement for payment. The car needed/needs restored so I spend hours with many sYc members via phone (thx Al, Benny, Jude)regarding this subject. In preperation for this I: *Entered an agreement of sale for my 69 SS Convetible Chevelle to a local buyer. *I bought plane tickets for a resto Shop to look at the car. *I paid a very reputable Restoration shop to review the car (thanks Mickey). The car is solid. But judge for yourself it's advertised authenticty. This link is to Team Camaro. web page Gents, pics of the build sheet are available for your review so that you can draw your own conclusion. The point of my post is not slanderous. I'm sure the seller meant no harm. He claims the build sheet was just there in the car, and he's not sure where it came from. My point in placing this post is to provide info on this car so that a potential buyer does not have to endure any unwarranted trouble, and/or be mis-led in the buying process.
