I've owned this for over thirty years but have no idea what it is....I've never seen another..can anyone enlighten me?

I believe one of these cushions was discussed here WAAAAAY back when. I think it was determined that the cushions were something that were used in conjunction with the "pace trucks" and utility vehicles provided at the track. The upholstery pattern matches the interior of a 69 era Chevy pickup. My guess is it was used for kneeling on for photo ops etc. Just a guess. I'm sure it's likely in a '69 GM merchandising catalog somewhere. Cool piece.
