Default Reath Automotive

Said day for our hobby,Reath Automotive after 50 plus years of business closed today.Joe Reath, one of the pioners of the welded stroker cranks, and his wife Deli closed for good today.Joe sponsored many cars over the years including the Reath&Dunn dragster.Henry Valesco got his start with Joe.I will truley miss them.

Don't mess with old farts - age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill! Bullshit and brilliance only come with age and experience.

Too bad these old shops couldn't capitalize on the nostalgia craze. Look at So-Cal, and Moon. They could probably make a living from Tee shirts, repro memorabilia, and other stuff.

Get the movie Funny Car Summer (1974). About Jim Dunn and has Reath Automotive and his shop in the film. Actually not a bad movie.
