Default 1967 L30/M20 Bolero Red / Black "By Giles"

I guess Giles Chevrolet in Port Jefferson wanted to be like Berger, they stamped this car "By Giles" (see pics)

Very Large Hi Res Pic's, so be patient.

Very Rare: (see http://www.camaro-untoldsecrets.com/...spotlite2c.htm )

Great Investment Car, that you can actually drive!
With the prices of Z-28's, who can drive em?
Here's a car that will only go up in value, and you can enjoy it while it does.
High Performance L30/M20's are not on the market often, and then rarely with the # match motor.

1967 L30/M20 Camaro for sale. One of only a handfull with it's original engine. Very nice driver quality car that has not been "over restored". A very fine example of an original unmolested car (no Headers, Highjackers etc). Most, if not all, of it's "Born With" factory components. At this point, it looks like the only non original part is the shifter. Original quarters and fenders. Original floorboards. No rust.

I am getting the last of the part numbers for CRG to put this car in the database this weekend when I will have it on the rack. If you would like any underside pictures, let me know.

This car has the (original) 327/275HP engine, the saginaw 4 speed and 12 Bolt rear with the factory traction bar. It looks to have never been "hot rodded". The engine bay is as new, and still has the cables on the motor mounts.

As I said earlier, this is a great driver quality car. Paint is tired, and a 12 footer. Interior is in great original shape other than the drivers seat. Dash Pad is in great shape. All lights and gauges work. Wipers Work. Car drives straight and true, even at 80MPH on the interstate.

What it needs immediately:
Nothing

What it needs to be REALLY nice:
A new paint job, the drivers seat recovered, engine bay detailed

What it needs to be 100% original:
Correct Shifter

What I did to the car:
Had 68 type round lights on all 4 corners (about the size of a quarter) removed and professionally covered. Spot Painted. Put the original rims and P01's (original to this car, previous owner kept them) back on. Tune up.

This car is offered for $20,000.00 firm.

Call or email me for more details or pics.

I don't think I've ever seen leaf spring clamp/lower shock mounts like those before. They look like they are cast and have been on the car for a long time. Anyone? Great car by the way. I love the plain janes.

Yea, the pad in this gal is MINT! Too bad the drivers seat cover is bad, otherwise the interior is great.

She does need some work to be a show car, but if I was keeping her (I already am working on a 69 X66 HO car and a 70 Monte SS454) I would leave it just as is.

Just affordable enough to be able to drive with a clear concience(sp), and still gets great looks.

I am going to try and take some video, I cannot believe how straight she drives for a firstGen. I'll post when I do.

Quite a few dealers used the By...Berger or Giles or whatever back in the day.Must have been part of a Chevrolet dealer slogan campaign or something....I've got a few By... dealer badges somewhere....

Cool Car....Can I have It?
