Iam not really into monte carlos so here is my thoughts. When u ordered the ls5 it automatically got the ss454 pkg with all the mldgs badges etc, this car is a wolf in sheeps clothing no badges etc ,they beefed up the orig ls3 eng with forgred 11:1 pistons, square ports and intake with a nice cam and 800 cfm holley m20 trans coupled to a 12 bolt with 410 gears and it looks like a plain ol monte carlo.

The LS-3 was a regular RPO in the 1970 Monte Carlo, but the 4:10 posi wasn't a possible RPO at all.
I too would like to see pix.
Who are you saying beefed it up..the Factory, the Selling Dealership,or the Owners?
Any paperwork to support if it's the first two?

Owner,s beefed it up i know that the 410 wasen,t an option only the 336 was,i was just stating that the car is an orig special ordered car (because of the color code and the big block 4 speed combo)Its just a rare car that someone in that area would definately remember.Car has build sheet and is fully documented thanks
