Can anyone tell give me the originial routing of the orange blower fan wire? Should it go through the wire gutter at the top center of the firewall, or did it travel across the back of the engine?
Thanks

I believe it is routed through the wiring gutter attached to the firewall and passes through a bent "J" tab bolted to the heater core cover. From there it is routed under the fender and to the blower motor.

Yep the J clip goes on the stud that comes from the inner heater box that is closest to the fender. Also the assembly manual shows the J clip positioned with the rounded part up.
