That is cool! Love the old road race cars. I had heard about a car that was in the NY/PA border region a few years ago and I wonder if this was the car. I thought the owner had passed away and his family was selling his car.

Boy oh Boy that thing is awesome, looks like it has over the "Factory" headers as well. I love those Vintage T/A cars. Just something about the T/A series back then... all of the privateers... buying cars from the local Chevrolet dealer, slapping a cage in them and racing... just doesn't happen quite like that any longer. Imagine if the current T/A series had to use a showroom chassis modified with a cage and frame connectors...

Read the question and answers. Some smart people looking. Everything looks legit. Question, did rollers come out in the early 70's? I rememeber people putting on needle bearing Ford Rockers back then. Also, does the fuel cell look like it was dropped in? Very cool car!

Just noticed it's in Carmel...about 5 minutes from my home.
Maybe I'll try to arrange to see it this wknd. ![]() I know a lot of vintage T/A guys and I have never seen this car.Imagine that...and right under my nose.

I helped the seller research the history of his car. Those are Stahl headers, verified by Jere Stahl as sold to Pete Dodd in '69.
