If you could own one car from the year that you were born what would it be?
For me it would have to be the 1970 CHEVELLE SS 454 ![]() Probably in Cortez Silver ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I think it would have to be a 70 Ls6 convertible chevelle or a 70 ZR1 corvette, maybe even a 70 L78 camaro depending on what I could afford..

I don't know that there's anything from 1951 that I'd want
![]() Talk about limited choices....Rita (Mrs. Billy Bobcat) would have to get something like Henry Ford's Quadricycle or a horse and buggy ![]() ![]() ![]()

You're treading in dangerous waters Bill.
![]() I can't make a choice. They didn't build cars the year I was born!!! ![]() ![]() But here's something to think about: How would you like to be the original owner of a car that was built BEFORE you were born? ![]() There was a dealership just South of us that previously sold Studebakers, and eventually Buicks. On the back lot of that delership sat a half dozen or so '63 Stude's that had never been sold/titled. One of the members here (Amuseme) often talked about buying one just to say he was "The Original Owner of a Car Built Before I was Born!" Later, that same dealer also had some "leftover" Boat tail Riviera's under similar circumstances. Very unusual!

'61 Canadian Pontiac Strato-Chief 2 Door Post w/ factory Chevy 409 4 Spd. .
The Canadian Ponchos had Chevy chassis/drivetrain so w/ a bit o' wangling could've been built w/ any available Chevy combo. . Although possible mid year, I don't think any were built but this has always been the one for me w/ it's Chevy Biscayne brother in second place. . Either would be the Fleetmaster-Utility version w/ 'everything delete'....dog-dish caps of course! ![]() ~ Pete

Bill, I'd have to agree with you. Due to the Korean conflict, there weren't too many cool cars that year.
Here's my choice: ![]() Nothing like a drop-top Caddy. |
