Default For Sale: 1970 Camaro

For sale is my 1970 Camaro Coupe.
L-65 (350/250), Turbo 350, 3.08 non-posi.

The motor, transmission, rear end, interior and paint are all original. Documentation includes the original Protect-o-Plate, pre delivery inspection sheet, two partial build sheets (one from the driver’s seat, other from gas tank), and a whole host of other original receipts. The documentation is bullet proof. Sold out of Jerry Roth Chevrolet.

Mileage is original at 26,500. The paint is original and cracking in various areas. I have talked with the original owner’s son twice who sent me a package of information dating back to day-1 with his mother’s Camaro.

Original options include Power Steering, Power Brakes, Custom Interior, Deluxe Interior, AM radio, Dual Speakers, Z21 style trim group and white walls. Both build sheets indication such. The Z21 style trim group includes, “Includes body colored insert on door handles, bright window, body, sill and hood panel moldings plus bright accented parking lights, taillights and backup lights” (NastyZ28.com).

The motor has been cleaned and is currently running with Hedman Headers, an Edelbrock Performer intake and Holley 650 CFM carb. The exhaust is a new Flowmaster unit. The Tranny is a built 350 with a B and M shift kit. The original Transmission goes with the sale of the car. I have every part that has ever been taken off this car including (to name a few) the original Rochester 2bbl, cast iron intake, and exhaust manifolds. I also have all four original steel wheels, four original hub caps and one original wheel with an original tire still attached with 1970 air.

The body bushings are brand new (I have the originals). The front and rear shocks have been replaced with brand new KYB’s (I have the original spirals). I even have the original single snorkel air filter. Rotors and drums were just cut and are original. Front pads and seals were just replaced.

This Camaro is incredibly original but by no means a show car. I have had nothing but fun driving it and the modifications done to the car were completed with one goal: to enhance driving enjoyment.

The only significant issues with this car is the dash pad is pealing like every 1970+ Camaro did and the driver's seat has a small tear and one seem needs to be restitched (a small job for the right guy).

There is NO rust on this car. All original metal.

Drive it home… $20,000.

Everything is original... chrome, grill, seat belts, seats, carpet, windows (minus driver's window), trim, metal, emblems, brake master, brake booster, steering pump, etc.
