Here goes the stupid question of the day. I am Just trying to clear something up between a few friends once and for all.
What is the correct terminology for a Super Sport with the Rally Sport option? I hear people calling them RS/SS and SS/RS. I know a Z28 w/ Rally Sport Option is a RS/Z28 so I'm assuming a Super Sport with the Rally Sport option is an RS/SS. ![]() |

The one I did up ten years ago and kept for about three years was always referred to by me as "RS/SS".
Of course, as you know, we Canucks always say or pronounce things a little different ![]()

Technically the SS option should proseed the RS option. So SS/RS is technically correct, but I like RS/SS.

I vote RS/SS simply because of how Chevrolet marketed the "SS" Camaro in '67. My '67 RS/SS was badged "SS350" on the grill and horn cover so it would make more sense to say RS/SS350 than SS350/RS.

I always believed it was SS/RS. SS was more of a model, the RS more of a trim package. Plus, nomenclature shows SS supercedes RS.

SS took precedence in the badging (I.E. fenders/steering wheel). I'd say SS/RS.
