My 69 Z28 has a blue light stero in it.Was wondering where the amplipher is bolted to the car.Now it is in the top of the dash with the bolts sticking of the cow area. I think that is wrong,but not sure.and wondering what type of bolts are used to mount it.

Mine is mounted above and to the right of the gas pedal,to the left of the console.

I believe it should be up above the glove box.

Charley I think that you are right, but where should it bolt to, mine is above the glove box and the bolts are at the end of the bracket and you can see them through the cow vent.

jl8z28, My Z/28 also has a factory Blue Light stereo, yours is bolted in the correct spot.
