yeah, everybody named Vinnie was stuffing a V8 into a Vega and painting it black. With those kits it was so easy, lots of them Kamback wagons (extra weight of rear glass for traction, HAH ). most of them wound up broken on the side of the road, driveshafts flying, rearends exploding. Motors tearing at the hood. You had to have to have big bucks to change the rear and get it narrowed. Some guys had full size rears hanging out the sides, what a site !! would be very nostalgic 1978ish. Wish I kept some of the stuff I had to tow back to the shop.

how old are those Vega ads? The prices are a wee bit low. The cars are very real, notice the bigger price on the worked rear. Gas it!

yes, the old Motion sign from the west wall. An unnamed individual anonomously contacted me a while back and offered it for sale. He never did respond to my question of how he came upon it. It is quite stunning set up in the living room though.

I thought I had it figured out Chris. I was the owner before him. I found the sign decaying in the back yard of a guy on L.I.
If you'd like me to fill in the blanks for you from the time it came off the wall, I can. Just contact me privately.
You seem to be a great guy with a serious interest (and history) in Motion cars. I'm glad it's with you. That's where it belongs!!! I have a lot of photos of it as it was recovered, before the previous owner spent a lot of time and money bringing it back to it's glory!

Just imagine......the only original remaining sign from MOTION! Is that or what????
