Default Yenko Honda Civics

I had no idea that Yenko had hopped up Civics. But what was I thinking! This is Yenko we're talking about, so of course they hopped up some Hondas. Not a supercar, but I thought you guys would like this anyway. Car and Driver, August and November 1974.

Motion had the "Thunder Bug" and Yenko the "Mini Stinger". Of course Motion was also building LS-6 powered Vegas about that time as well.

Not a supercar either....but the 1.6 VTEC is Supercharged so the ride to the 8000RPM factory fuel shut off is quick.

I had second thoughts about my thread title, and changed it. Sorry.

Did some digging through my "archives" since my Son is a Honda fanatic. I found both issues you mentioned, but in the November issue, I cant find that ad. Is that the correct month and it is Car and Driver, right?

Thanks for the lead; this is really cool.

My apologies, I made a mistake. This ad is from Car and Driver, June 1974, Page 101.

Thank You, Sir; I found it!

Looks like my Son is now in the market for another Honda. Anyone who comes across any of these sure to be exceptionally scarce pieces, please let me know!

(And Yes...I am serious!)

I guess his 300+whp CRX isn't quite enough for him yet!
