I've always been pretty much a Chevy/GM kind've guy...sure I've been appreciative of and even owned a few cool Mopar cars and other brands over the years but never had any love for much in the Ford family. .
I never enjoyed working on them in my days on the bench and chose my side of the Hatfield-McCoy like feud of the 60's/70's quite naturally...also have always really rather enjoyed beating up on the Mustangs and their friends! . Perhaps it's the holidays (maybe the holiday liqour?) or the new year looming, but the way the hobby has gone in recent times with what can be documented also engine alone clarified by Vin alone, I can't help but notice some Fords seeming more appealing...and hard to say but even some Mustangs maybe? . Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I want to own one to love like a 'real' GM car, but as an investment or something to flip, it's seeming somewhat appealing to get away from some of the pre '72 GM product with no engine Vin digit and the whole fraudulent cars and paper and possiblilities that seems to go along with so many of them? . I guess what I can't help but notice is some deals out there on Fords and yes, even Mustangs that look worth considering, lots of parts available...even a Marti report if it's a more special car and worth doing? . Am I losing it it, any thoughts on this from you other guys...I think I'd better have a few more drinks and see how things feel...maybe then sleep it off and see how things seem tomorrow? . Happy Holidays! ![]() ~ Pete
