I think you would be safe by addind a column tach and 3 ubder dash gages with whatever interior you choose.

Well I have in the works: nothing quite finished.
69 Hugger orange ZL-1 Camaro
68 yenko Camaro
69 Yenko Nova (possibly Forest Green)
68 427 300 Malibu
66 Corvair Stinger
67 Nickey Camaro

I will get pictures when I finish

Tim

Just a stock interior with a tach on the column and gauges under the dash as Belair said. Maybe a Hurst shifter?

Consider a car with factory tach and gauges too. Then just a Hurst shifter might be all that's different from the factory interior.

I'll look through my '60s magazines for an interior shot.

Here's the interior of the first Dana 427 Camaro, delivered as an SS 350 and converted to 427 power. Aftermarket column tach, aftermarket gauges at lower right, stock Muncie shifter and stock woodgrain wheel.

Baldwin-Motion 427 '67 Camaro. No aftermarket tach or gauges, not even the factory tach/gauges. Just an aftermarket wood wheel by Grant. Stock Muncie shifter.

Both photos from period (1967) publications. Both cars have drum brakes, as indicated by their brake pedals.

Here's the B-M Camaro prowling the streets near the Motion shop in 1967. Narrow 14x6 five-spokes and tall redlines in back. Pumped L72 under the hood!
