Default 70-73 Camaro dealer emblem placement?

I have a sticker... Now what???

I am curious to know if there are any 70-73 Camaros out there that have the original selling dealer emblem still intact. Wondering what locations were used for placement. Bumper, trunk lid, rear panel???

I worked at a Pontiac dealership when I was in college, and can tell you that every kid who stuck decals on the back of new cars stuck 'em in a different place... usually the left hand side, sometimes on the decklid, sometimes on the bumper, sometimes in the middle, sometimes on the right. (They were always crooked too. ) I'd say you could put it wherever it looks the best to you, and call it done. I thought I was the only one that freaked out about stuff like that.

Sand it down and look for the glue that is still etched in the metal..... ...I agree with Joe,put it where it makes you happy..

make a good scan of it before smacking it on, let small fry slap it on for the authentic install.

Darren,

On the 73 Z28 that I bought new from Fencl-Tufo, the decal was on the deck lid, right between the stripes, near the little curved down lip at the bottom. It wasn't there for long, as I hate those decals!

Darren,

Here is a picture of the original dealer emblem on my 70 L78. It was placed on the left side of the short spoiler. When I bought car the original spoiler was in the back seat and the second owenr had installed the 3 peice spoiler.

While preparing for the WOW show next week in Pittsburgh, I found a tupperware container in the trailer Inside was an old brownie, so I ate it, and some greasy lift brackets!! I thought I delivered all of the parts I brought to SCR9, guess I forgot to give them to you Darren... Shoot me an addy, and I'll ship them out to ya!

(no brownie jokes...)
