New here, I need good info on verfying a copo
Hello all, I joined today in hopes of getting good info on copo's. I have a friend that has asked me to ride with him this weekend to look at a COPO , Now I know quite a bit about decoding chevelles, BUT NOTHING ABOUT COPO'S, ANY help would be great. The car we are going to look at supposably has been in the same family for 15 yrs, and the guy has told my friend he can put us in touch with the original owner, also he says he has some paper work. NOW outside of me seeing a build sheet, im wondering if there are any "things to look for" that may help aid in determining if this is in fact a true copo. The car doesn't have a engine in it, so block numbers are out. My buddy tell me the car can be bought for around 45-50k. PLEASE GIVE US YOUR "2CENTS" WORTH.! Mike
