I owned this car and I had the frame off done. A good friend of mine owned this car for almost 20 years. If anyone here is interested in the car I have a complete owner history, and several pre-resto photos. I can assure everyone this is an original sheet metal car and original "born with" drivetrain car.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...em=250095932636 This is a picture of "Wild Bill" with his car of almost 20 years completed! I do not know who owns it now, but I did email him. It sounds like the guy who has it on ebay is not the owner.

Im not throwing stones at all,,,its only a tach and could have been changed for a number of reasons. Just wondering if its the same car. My restoration shop bakes all of their bodies and frames. The trim tags have to be removed to do this. This car was literally being finished as it was going on the trailer to AZ. I about "%$#&" when I got to Scottsdale two years ago and I saw those rivets! I pointed them out to the buyer after the car ran through the auction, but since I was able to give him the name and numbers of all of the owners he was ok. The rivets are how I knew it had to be the same car. As far as the tach is concerned, it had the proper tach in it when I sold it...don't know. Absolutely an original born with drivetrain car and original sheet metal car. I did not realize it had been talked about here before.

The documentation I had was only owner history. However, each owner agreed to sign affadavits for the car stating its history and originality. I also shared the pics of the car with my favorite Chevelle Judge. I was trying to buy the car back last summer, because I was going to pay to get it certified. The guy did not post any pics of the pad stamp, but it is absolutely the original engine with the original broach marks.
By the way, the guy at the resto shop that used those rivets was promptly fired.
