Can anyone help me figure out how to find what stamped numbers are on the vacuum advane unit, cam weight base, the correct mainshaft etc. This would be for a 1111169 for a 67 camaro. I have the original 1111170 for my 67 L78 and know these numbers, I just cant find any info on the 1111169. Thanks!! Travis

I think for your #11111169 Distributor the Vacuum advance unit should be #1115357,if your distributor is stamped before April 1966.
If after April 1966,use Vacuum advance #1116201. It used: Main shaft-#1968535 Weights-#1881371 Springs-#1882774 Rotor-#1971247 Base plate-#1962141 |

if your distributor is stamped before April 1966...If after April 1966 [/ QUOTE ] 1111169 was not used in 1966, it is a 67 68 part. |

Advance cam is 732 CCW. [/ QUOTE ] So its the same (732ccw)as my 1111170? Thats good to know! What about the vacuum advance unit? MS 360 12 is on my 1111170, is this the same on a 1111169? Thanks! |

My error,I believe those 4/66 dates are in relation to the Vacuum advance release itself, not the Distributors assembly date.
I just checked an unrestored #1169 from an 1967 L-35 Chevelle and it's holding a 12 degree #1115360 V/Advance.Chevrolet records confirm it too as original equipment, yet Delco records say it used a #201. ![]() I would use the MS 12 #360 for your #1169. |
