I'm looking for any information, pictures, etc, that someone may have on a maroon 1969 Chevrolet Biscayne 427 that was purchased at Hank Bochman Chevrolet in Hamburg, NY. The car was raced throuhout the seventies into the mid eighties. It was dubbed "BisQuick" down the side of the car in gold letters. The car was raced at Lancaster Dragway, Niagra, and maybe in Canada. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Zach |

Try contacting the last guy on this thread and see if he can be of any help. I know I have seen pictures of this car somewhere. Maybe a magazine article back in the day.

I think "BisQuick" was not an uncommon name for anyone actively racing a Biscayne back in the day
![]() Rick, you might be thinking of the magazine article a few years back on the LeMans blue 69 Biscayne L72....that was also called "BisQuick" in the article ![]()

I've noticed there were quite a few named "BisQuick". The correct spelling for the dealership is Bockman. Thanks for the info so far.

Jim,
What color yellow ? Butternut ? If so, mine is an exact duplicate, only it came with an M-21. But it's a legit L72 that also came with 4.88's. It was campaigned in the Sioux Falls, SD area and was known as "Ennis's Menace". With so few of them made....it's neat that there may be two out there that were very similarly equipped. Do you have pics that you could post of yours ? Either present, or back-in-the-day ? |

Jim, do you have any documents from that Biscayne? I have a full-size Chevrolet registry and would like to add your car to it if you have any of the paperwork. I can also check through my lists and see if I have come across it at some point if you have the vin. I have about 7500 cars recorded
