Default submarines and graduation

a quick trip to Springfield Mass on friday started with three ferry trips. Here is the family truckster on the Orient Point NY to New London CT ferry





helicopter circling the Plum Island perimeter


submarine pulling into General Dynamics


USCG keeping all boats (except us) at a distance

there is no time to investigate "rotting muscle" as we speed back to New London to catch the last boat home.



the sun sets as we head out to Orient



New London Harbor boats at mooring



on board the ferry son Mike gets to chat with Bryon Chew who sadly only ran 20 laps at Loudon NH before his new $45,000 motor gave up.

I remember getting to cut a few things in half with a 50cal when I was in the Navy. Whoa to any 17' tri-hulls that get too close!!
