Default Chevelle VINīs

Is there a site like the one that CRG runs where you can see when a certain Chevelle was built ? A friend of mine looked at one the other day but the bodytag was gone so he couldnīt see during which week it was built. The VIN was 136379B304917 I believe.

Hi Anders,

I'll help you to start and bracket the car's build date. I have a 06 A Baltimore Chevelle with a VIN of 384,XXX. Maybe some others will provide the same info on their Baltimore cars.

Good luck!

Would look like Sept./'69 based on info from the Chevelle site.

Thankīs Carmen, interesting reading there.

Dick, if it was built in September 1968 then I guess it was in early september.
Didnīt they build more than around 4.000 Baltimore cars in August ?

"* It is assumed there were 1969 Chevelles with body dates in August 1968 although no examples have been reported here. August and September totals are listed in September only."

My pleasure Anders. That Chevellestuff site is a good one and getting better. I learned a thing or two there myself.
