From what I can tell, the earliest use was on road race/drag cars in 67, then on dealership sold cars in 68. Seems Harrell and Yenko started using the logo at about the same. I'd guess it was something Don Yenko sketched up.

What's interesting to me is that a number of dealers used the
same logo shape, but with their respective name on the inset. I have always wondered about this as well. It must have been some sort of "group think" thing concerning dealer unity....... However, as each dealer was trying to take their piece of the pie, you would think that they would do anything to set themselves apart. ![]() Nuch

did the 3 stars and the amount of stripes have any meaning? does the badge shape behind the bow tie resemble any official badges? just curious if anyone knows the story. dennis
