Default 499 Distributor Restoration

I know plenty has been said about distributor restoration on this board, but, I wanted to add a couple cents worth for anyone who cares.

I just got my 499 from Jeff Dotterer today and am more than pleased with the results. His work is impeccable (although I thought I was going to die of old age before I got it). For anyone considering a distributor resto, I would recommend Jeff.

Regards,

Mark

No, that was just the restoration charge .

That price included the core and the resto.

I would also recommend Jeff Dotterer for his parts and resto services. He only focuses on the real stuff, if he gets a restamped part in for resto - he simply sends it back, no chance of getting mixed up with the real stuff!

A guy I knew bought a 437 from Jeff back in the 90's and put it on his ls6.During the Diamond Certification process Jeff deducted points off of this car because he said that it had a restamped distributor. The owner reminded him that he had bought it from him, however he would not change his mind.

Knowledge is ever-accumulating, just ask someone who was restoring cars in the 80's vs. today!
