Default educate me on somethin please

I found a 350 block 3970010 that is supposed to be a 70 LT1. I will more than likely grab it in the morning but I want to get some more information from you all. First, it is a CE block and has a four digit number after that starting with 0 (sorry, didn't write it down earlier). it has a couple of letters beneath that which are larger but again, I failed to write it down. the engine is a 4 bolt and has a windage tray attached to the main caps and also has the windage tray in the oil pan. The crank is forged and appears to be a 1182 part number. Educate me on anything else to help me in deciphering this block if you can. It's cheap enough that I cant get hurt and the cylinders look good with no lip. I found it in the corner of a shop with some other blocks. He says he has the rods and pistons but hasn't located them yet (I don't see how he works in there as it is, much less how he finds anything)...

I couldn't make out the date code when I looked, lots of paint covering it....

Sounds like a 1970 issued service replacement Block with a forged steel crank for a Camaro-Corvette LT-1.
Those digits after the number 0 make up the sequence number from Flint.
Get the casting date in back too.

That's pretty much what he claimed it was and appears to be so I guess I may as well take it to the house. I had been looking for something like it to use in a project. I'll get the numbers when I go back by. I hate to haul it home in my truck tomorrow in this weather, the weather dude is calling for rain and snow in Kentucky.

Tommy...Buy a couple rolls of saran wrap and wrap the block up real good, then put a garbage bag over that, duct taped up of course.
