guys, do any of you know if Chevy ever stamped and date coded any of their BB Oil Pans, and if they did were would you look to find the part number and dates if they did, thank you.

I've never noticed a date stamp before.
For ALL 8cyl.,I look at the width of the rear lip. If it's 3/8 rounded,it's 1968 & earlier. If it's 5/8 flat,it's 1970 & later. |
