All of the talk in the for sale forum about the last 67 Z-28 got me to thinking. What happened with the 1st one off the assemble line? Wasn't it posted on here a while back? I did a search and can't find anything on it? I believe it was being restored. What happened to it?

John Mello has it. He is a member here and is restoring it back to race trim I think.

Yes, the gold Z is getting restored back to race trim as it was raced in the '60s. The bodywork is basically done. A few other things to do and then we can move on to paint.
