Car was sold new out of Marhofer Chevy in Stow, Ohio per the buildsheet... That would be one hell of a nice car and color combo when restored..

$70k bid, no reserve and 6 days to go
no engine or trans and other "stolen" or missing parts plus a complete rust bucket, now I know why people ask about frame rust, that thing will need a new frame as well as a body ... gotta love the mug posing next to it ...

I don't know how much can be saved but either way it will take 150k to do it right. How much is it worth when done? The last one sold at auction only brought around 250k. These keep appearing. Makes one wonder how many were really built. Great color combo though.

Someone apparently offered him 100k for it according to the question/answer posted under the e-bay ad...

The restoration on this car is NOT for the faint hearted type and will take some SERIOUS money to do it right. Likely $25-30k under the hood alone with the correct parts. Unfortunalely, it likely will end up like many of the others, slammed together just so they can bring it to B-J. Not sure there will be enough left over to put in their pocket however. Neat colors none the less and a combination that should be stunning when done.
