Default 69z

Appears to be a 1970 Z-28 350 engine setup and air cleaner. I guess the owner wanted to preserve the original short block while having some extra torque in the process. I always thought a 70 LT-1 350 in a 69 Camaro was the best of both worlds.

Thanks. I have that 350/370hp LT1 in my 69Z and its fantastic. The original 302 is on a stand waiting to be rebuilt, eventually.

Back in the day, Car & Driver magazine did exactly that, put an LT-1 in a blue 69 Z28 and called it "Blue Maxi". They gushed over the car.

Wonder what's up with the oddball BIN prices in both the old and new auctions
