One heck of a find and What a clean up job. What would we do without WD/40 and Duck Tape ?

Nicely done. Now if we could get them things back on the street and set at .29 cents a gallon ( Hard to believe we used to get that price ) How many remember 3 or 4 guys piling in and each kicking in a buck then cruising half the night.

Very, very, VERY cool Rick!
I can only imagine what one like that would look like on the concrete pad outside my shop. .....Oh. oh, I just realized with your photo skills, you could do that, since you have a photo of the pad!!!!! Don't make me cry....

Like JoeG said...........those were the days when a gallon of 260 cost less than a bottle of water today........

I'd never make You Cry Verne.

I did a search and found the National average for Leaded octane gasoline in 1970 was 34 cents a gallon.

Some asked me if I would post a picture of the Fuel Filters.
I guess they came over from the Oldgas.com website.
I enjoy any input from you Gas & Oil guys & Welcome you here with us.

Rick,

Glad you finally popped for the pump. I know you've been looking for a looooooooooooong time.

WD40 and 0000 steel wool are a resto guy's best friends!!! It looks GREAT! (in your LIVING ROOM?????)

Mark,

Don`t be jealous. Stop worrying about me and start working on the wifes car before it rusts away.
