Default Rod Rimmer Anyone?

Was it someone's name or what the dealer was famous for?

It appears that Rod Rimmer was a former rodeo star who owned auto dealership(s) in the Hanford, CA area. That's what I am gleaning from an extensive search on Google.

Lee,

Thanks for the reply and research. I guess I have a dirty mind but I was more thinking of the innuendo it suggests.

LOL!

I thought it referred to some variation of "Hot Rod."

It's interesting that the name and location on the frames are different.

It is interesting that the dealer name is on the top of one frame and the bottom of the other. I think the plates are that way for the front and the back of the car. Someone here explained why they swapped from top to bottom but I forget the explanation.

Thanks,

Jason
