Yankee Air Museum Burns to the Ground
I know a few of you guys are into the old war birds. This was a VERY sad day for the Museum and those in the area that are close to it. Lots of memorabilia and artifacts gone ........

That is sad.We are losing are surviving Vets every day,we don't need to lose any remaining artifacts from that era as well.I commend the fast acts of those who were able to move some of that heavy equipment out of Harms way,as fast as they did.

Re: Yankee Air Museum Burns to the Ground
That hit home!! I am a World War II aviation buff, because I would like to know more about what my grandfather might have worked on as a mechanic in the South Pacific. Unfortunately he passed away in 1998. R.I.P Sgt. Frank McCutcheon 1915-1998
