I'd like to see some pictures of the car and PHS when you get a chance to post them.

Here's a link to one that Stefano sold within the last six months. Not much of a spread between prices. Condition, on the other hand...

the main difference between stefano's car is this is an SJ,and has a lot more options.
i also believe this one hs the 370 horse 428.

FWIW, engine code WF is the 370hp 428, WG would be the 390hp 428 HO. Original tranny should be M20, M21 is 3.90/4.33 gear HO without A/C only.
Pretty rare car, 1 of 333 (includes 3 speed), I don't have a breakdown between the models (J AND SJ).

Very cool car, good luck with the sale.

just got off the phone with seller:

he has the original new jersey title

original engine heads and intake(it is the 370 horse, not the 390 HO 428)
original 4 speed qjet
also forgot to add it has power trunk
it isnt leather
tons of extra sheetmetal including a rust free door, fenders, and a NOS pass side quarter skin
emailing me build sheet today
on the phs docs,it says this car was for export, and has the export tabs on the frame.

seller has the motherload in Pontiac parts, including a set of Pontiac HO headers, one header is NOS.
wants to sell so he can finish his 442 project.

I was looking at the car Stefano had bought before he had purchased it. It was very reasonably priced and just needed some finishing touches. Looking back on it now, I should have snatched it up.

The '69 428-HO 390hp GP's with any manual trans is code WL. This engine/trans combo was not offered available with a/c. I do know of 1 documented car that somehow slipped through with a/c. The M20 wide ratio cars got 3:55 rear gears standard with taller gears optional, the M21 close ratio cars all got 3:90's.

Thanks for posting the picture of the original build sheet. Very cool! This GP appears to be a fairly late production '69. Does the seller have a copy of the PHS invoice as well? If so, that would be much easier to read. Sounds like a great car to restore!
