I don't understand that. They're 95% identical to the old ones. To tell the truth, I can't even tell the difference.

Yes and it is noticable, and it matters to some.

Not even close to the old ones.

The new Cragars look like Cragar impostors back in the day.

Here is my GTX where the lift master air shocks still on it from 67 allow you to adjust the rear stance, I push the car's back end as far as it can go. I had a guy adjust the front end as far as it could go with the torsion rods, as it looks so good raised up.

Thanks for the compliments, all I try to do is emulate the stance of a factory street racer. It will make you think twice if it pulled up next to you, as it has nailed it's stance (i.e. a little high, just a small rake).

Grew up with my friend in Upland, Pa who had a forest green, L78 with a T400, bench seat, column shift, 4.88's and rubber floors. Wish I bought that from him back in '74. We had fun in C/SA at Cecil County all the time...

Those are 255/60's on my 68 Mark. I think the rears are 8" rims while fronts are 7's. Previous owner had to clearance the fronts to fit over the 4 pistons brakes but I like the look of them on there.

I sold my 67 SS/RS survivor about three years ago and have regretted doing so. It was my go-to worry-free daily driver! Recently, I had the opportunity to buy it back... so I jumped at the chance (yes, I have the most loving and supportive wife ever)! Unfortunately, one of the owners along the way had nabbed these original rally wheels and redlines that we’re on it when I sold it.

I just scored these 14x10” slots which match up nicely with a set of fronts threat I had stashed away... I knew they’d come in handy one day! Here’s my new look.

Excuse the mis-matched rubber. These tires are so cracked on the sidewalls that I wouldn’t even drive to the mail box with ‘em. I also have a little rubbing on the fronts to deal with before spring.

I found an old picture from the 2014 Downriver cruise with the Camaro in the background, before the old airshocks quit. They've been replaced since, and this is also before I redid the traction bars and added the HiJackers logos to the window. For some reason, the new shocks don't seem to raise it as much. Then again, I was 14 then, maybe I just got taller.

It was imperative for me that the depth of the pleats (1/2") were spot on to the way the factory design them for that WOW factor.

Nothing rides like the big Chevy with a 427 in front of her.

I had the 68 SS427 when I was stupid, just out of high school in 73 and sold it. Then, was stupid again 5 years ago when I sold the 67 SS427. SO, HOW’S MY STANCE IN THE GARAGE for me being dumb?

Took me a looooong time to take my eyes off the two cars and finally notice you sleeping in the car cover. Nice lot of 427 cars!

Many people have told me that my car sits too low in the back. I tell them they were the guys that put the big shackle extensions in their Nova’s, Camaro’s, Cuda’s etc. Lol I like the factory look the best.

While the Camaro (s) hibernates and I feel like drivin’ something other than my Suburban, my Ford P71 CVPI has the right “stance” plus loves left lane...... There’s that feeling when you see it in your rear view mirror....

I agree needs some vintage slicks... You should hear this thing run. The owner just dropped in a 468 cubic inch over the winter. Sounds just wicked and nasty... He was at a local car cruise inn last night.

When did you get the LS6?

I got it last spring. It has 43k miles, black bench seat interior, cowl induction (as you can see) and still retains its original paint and born-with LS6 motor, M22 & 3.31 rear. Built in the Atlanta plant and originally sold at Caplinger Chevrolet in England Arkansas. I’m the fifth owner.
